It is official. Today was my first day as a full-time employee at FireForge. They hired me on as a Junior Concept Artist last month, and I made the move down to Orange County CA last week. The people I now work with are amazing at what they do. I know I am going to learn a lot from them. I'm excited!

That Silver Lining

Finding work since graduating in December last year has not been easy. Today I got a phone call from a company I applied to recently. I'm skipping the art test because my portfolio already has what they are looking for. They've given me a contract job, which starts next week. They're calling it an "audition". If all goes well, chances are good that they will hire me on full time. I'm going to work hard and be optimistic!
