A little over a month ago I applied for an illustration job.  I found out today that I didn't get it.

Back to the drawing board then.

hi! Your art is great, plus I'm also a female art student and a fan of Blizzard, so... +watch! ^^

If you're planning on going, don't forget tickets go on sale soon! :D I missed going one year because I didn't realize how early the tickets get posted:

Yep! It's a little inconvenient since sales open when my evening class begins >.> Guess I will be late that day... hehe. Thanks for the reminder!

You're welcome!

Some tips:
-These things sell out in less than a second. I have gotten them in the past by hitting F5 (refresh browser) over and over and pouncing on that buy button the moment it appears.
-Enlist friends to do the same--increases your odds of getting in the queue, and then the first person in line can buy the tickets for everyone (up to four).
-Hit add to cart before selecting the ticket number (if buying more than one)--you can increase the number once you have one in your cart, and this save you precious time. (At least, this is how it has worked in the past.)
-Make sure you're on DA at the time and I'll check with you to see where you are in queue. If I get into the queue ahead of you and tickets look like they will sell out before your turn, I may be able to get you one if you can pay me back through PayPal or something. But I'll need to know right away, because my place in line will only be reserved for so long once I get to the checkout. Things move really fast.
-Bring your portfolio! There is always a Recruitment booth to drop it off at, and sometimes people will help critique your work.
-Bring a silver permanent marker, get in line after the panels, get autographs from your favorite people--whether you collect autographs or not, it is a fantastic way to meet great people and get advice. Ask questions at the Q&As for the same reason.

I've been there four times, so if you have any questions whatsoever, just ask. :D

Hey Cornelia it's Claudia! It was really awesome to have met you at GDC. Thanks so much again for all your critique, and being my line-waiting-friend! (: I wanted to ask would it be okay if I added you on Facebook for networking?

Hi! It was great to meet you too. To be honest I am never on facebook. I log in maybe once every two weeks to see if there is anything important from friends or so. You got my email, and you can always contact me here :)

Oooh okay. :D Sure! I'll just message you here on DA instead. (:
